6 months post op
Mar 16, 2009
OK - so I have made it - 6 months post op. I had kinda hoped I would be one of those super LOSERS and be able to say - WOW - I have lost 100lbs. But, that is not the case. I can proudly say that I have lost 84 pounds and I have 26 more lbs to go. However, this time - I am losing it right. I have never in my life enjoyed going to the gym as much I do now. It sometimes is the subject of some heated discussions between DH and I because of how many times a week I do go to the gym. Not becuase he isn't supportive - but because going to the gym takes away from my time with him and the children. But - this is something that I have to and need to do for me. Because not doing for me is what got me in this predicament in the first place.I am curious how I measure up to others - at the 6 month mark. I know I shouldn't compare - but I just need to know I am doing OK. I had to post-pone my 6 month follow-up with my surgeon to next month, due to too much going on with my new job - but I did get my labs done today - I am hoping everything is where is needs to be.
Anyone want to share their progress at 6 months?
