8 Months Post-Op

May 18, 2009

I am proud to say, I am down 90 lbs.  The first 5 to 6 months flew by, and the last 2 to 3 months have crawled like a snail.  But - that snail is STILL crawling - which means I am still losing.  I am averaging only 3 to 4 lbs a month - which is very hard, since I still want to lose another 20 lbs.  But I will get there, rain or shine.

I have already scheduled a PS consult for 26 May.  I am considering/planning a TT and Breast Lift with possible augmentation.  The "quote" is good for one year, as my surgeon suggests being 15 lbs from goal and the Plastic Surgeon says he takes is as a case by case basis.  So - more info to come on Plastics.

I am so thankful that I have been giving this chance on a new life.  I still deal with head hunger, on a daily basis.  And I have to control myself when alone or bored, which where my triggers before surgery.  But I am staying positive.

Even if I don't lose another pound and I stay at 155 for the rest of my life, I would be happy.  I am still active in the gym, 4 to 5 times a week.  I have actually taken up jogging - which I used to HATE years ago.  As long as I keep this up, I will continue to tone.  As a matter of fact, when I went to the spa a few weeks ago, the massage therapist commented on how firm my skin was, after losing that amount of weight -

But if anyone has any light to shed on me, on how I can drop those last 20 lbs, and it not take 5 months to do - that would be great!!!
