Hello! My name is Crystal better known as "Big Sexy". I am the mother of a 4 year old beautiful daughter(Zakiyah) and engaged to the best man in the world(Alvin). Well my story is that through the 26 years that I've been alive, about 21 of them I have blossomed from "Overweight" to "Super Morbidly Obese"(Damn near 400lbs). Despite all of the lumps, bumps, folds and rolls I love me and feel that there in not a women on earth that has anything on me. It took me some years to come to this conclusion I would say my sophomore year in high school. This is the year I was given the name "Big Sexy". Like I mentioned earlier I have struggled with my weight for a long time now but never got to me until the birth of my daughter(January ’03). After bringing this precious gift into the world and at the happiest moment in my life the doctor that delivered my baby(forgot the lady name) told me something that just CRUSHED me up to pieces. She looked me square in the face and said “Crystal, if you don’t do something about your weight, you will not see your daughter graduate. That has been worrying me for some time now but I didn’t tell anyone I’ve just doing business as usual. Now as a young single black mother I immediately got a reality check, cut off all sexually ties with my child‘s father(b-cuz of all the drama with his girlfriend that I didn‘t know about during our so call relationship), established child support, hooked back up with a guy(Alivin my Fiancé) I dated back in ‘01 from college,(best thing I could have ever done) took a continue education course got my certification as a nurse assistant and got a job @ the hospital,…………Fast-forward…………..While reading the bulletin board at the time clock one day (fall ‘06) it hit me right in my face a paper all about WLS and had this skinny man hold up some huge pants… a seminar for WLS…..So I went and was SOLD “Yes! this is the answer to my weight problems”……….the staff was great, being I’m an employee they told me insurance is not a problem and gave me a appointment and now I am officially starting the process. I went to the 1st appointment and they weighted me, gave me orders for blood work & some x-rays. Now I have more appointments to get cleared from a cardiologist, sleep Dr., and pulmonary………………………….Finally got all this done and I have a date….October 1st……………PRAY FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!
