OK so I had surgery on July 29, 2009....I am about 3 weeks out now and doing well.  I have lost 13 pounds and at my 2 week follow up I was doing well...I started soft foods today and I am so excited about it...lol
Just wanted to have a little update on me

OK so the day is coming so fast...I went for my PATS on July 20th and everything came back text book they said....so now the count down is on till the surgery...July 29th @ 12pm....only 4 more days from this post...I'm sooo excited but at the same time really nervous....I know that this is a natural feeling...I will post again after surgery

OK so I talked to Barix today and finally got a date...it is July 29th...I went on the cancellation list also as I would like to get it done sooner....I go for pre op tests on July 20th...if I don't get a sooner date...I will keep everyone posted:)

Ok so I got the news today.......

June 23rd I have been approved for my RNY...I am so happy right now I am just on cloud nine

I am ready to start my journey

OK so on June 5th I went for my consult with Dr.Taylor....everything went well...he is such a nice guy and cute too

I don't need anymore tests before my surgery so that was good news....I just have to wait for my approval letter form OHIPI hate waiting it is the worst part...I faxed mt OOC application on May 7th and they requested more info on May 25th...so my doc faxed them what they requested....so now it is June 7th and I still have not heard anything

So all I am waiting for is the approval letter...I cant do much till I get it

OK so I faxed the papers in on May 7th and I am still waiting for the approval letter....I'm so nervous I hate waiting for things

I am hoping to go to a consult with Dr.Taylor now on June 5th....I had to switch doctors because Dr.Pop does not work with my schedule for when I can get the surgery done....I hear good things about Dr.Taylor as well...I will keep you all posted when I hear some good news

DR...APPOINTMENT..............Ok I have a doc appointment on March 4th...i am a bit nervous because i dont think my Doc will approve of this...I hope she does because I am going to stay strong with what I want....I hope I have everything I need for the appointment...I have my letter to OHIP, A letter to my doc, a list of diets I have been on, information about the doc I want to do the RNY, information on the RNY, the OOC forms, I think that is everything...If I am missing anything please someone let me know

OK...so here starts my long journey....First I want to thank Chantelle for helping me in this direction....I am researching for the month of Feb and by feb 28th i want to have my appointment booked with my family doctor to tell her what I want to do...Know I know she will not approve this so I dont know what the next step will be...Stay tuned
