I finally got to shake the hand of Dr. Koren today. What a wonderful man and Doctor he is. He really knows what he is talking about when it comes to WLS. I felt so comfortable sitting across from him and he makes you feel so at ease. I even got meet Mandy who is Dr. Koren's Bariatric Coordinater. I felt right at ease with her because she has had WLS and understood where I was coming from.
Dr. Koren has monthly support group meetings every month at Easton Hospital. The 3rd week of every Wednseday and 4th Saturday of the month and let me tell you they are worth going to as you'll get to meet the best surgeon around plus meet Mandy who is Dr. Koren's Bariatric Coordinater. Anyone is welcome to come.
Dr. Koren rocks when it comes to his patients. He really cares about you and lets you know it. He also has wonderful fallow ups on each and every patient.

"The hospital is under staffed. It was hard a times to get someone to respond to my calls. They had one night nurse "Brian" that came to my aid ASAP every time my call light went off. My room was right across from the utility room and I had to ask that my door stay closed due to the door slamming shut all the time. Dr. Koren and Mandy where wonderful."
