well guys im down 55lbs so far and feeling great all your support and emails where very helpful .. maybe soon ill take a picture and pass it along before and after... hope you guys are doing as good as i am so far..lol love april

Well surgery went well .. pain now when i walk and sit up is painfful to say the least.. does anyone know when it gets better,no depression still glad i did it but hate feeling helpless , my mother and family help me tons but hate to burden anyone. fill me in if ya can thanks..

Hi April, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck, I was nervous. Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few extra calories) because my surgery went just fine. I was not in much pain, just sore. And that was not really my incision, it was mostly my back (go figure). Remember, keep it positive, that includes having only positive people around you. The negative people are just ill-informed. Unfortunately, negative comments right now can really send you into a tail spin (and for nothing!!) Anyway, you'll do just fine. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true. Mine have. All the best,
