Haven't measured or updated in a while! Finally did it today for those who are following me!

Went to the ball last night and had a great time! My daddy and Sandra went with me and I'm posting pictures we took. I weighed this morning and weigh in at 214.5! I've lost 53 lbs so far!

I had my pictures taken today in the same outfit I wore for my pre-op pics. We can tell a big difference! I weighed and have lost exactly 47 lbs. All my measurements are continuing to drop and I have gone down 3 clothes sizes.

Went to see Dr. C yesterday for my 6 wk check-up. Everything is going well with the exception of severe constipation that he says is not normal so now I'm on Milk of Magnesia everyday and have to eat more fruit. Seeing as how I wasn't really eating alot of fruit to start with any will be an improvement! Hopefully this will solve this issue and I will be feeling a little more normal. He was pleased with my weight loss. I was worried that I should have lost more but the nutritionist quickly told me I was doing great so stop worrying. I don't have to go back until March so I will only be updating health tracker each week unless something extraordinary happens that I feel needs to be shared.

So sorry to those that have been following me! I have not posted in almost a month. I was very sick the week of Christmas and then with the holidays have not had a chance to update. All is well with me and I am at 32 lbs lost! I think it would be more if I had not been sick. I went 2 1/2 days where I could not eat anything and had several days where I could not exercise at all I was so weak. I'm back on track now and losing about a lb a day. I am so excited that I get to go to support group this week and get my first star!(25 lbs. lost).

Went to see the doctor yesterday and he said he was proud of me! I have been doing very well, I lost 8 lbs since Fri. and 15 since last Mon.(surgery day). I have not had any difficulties from the surgery. It has actually gone way better than I expected!

My Dad and Mom helped me pack my stuff and come to my house today. I know it's only a .25 of a mile but it does feel good being in your own house! They also brought my boxes of Christmas Decorations that I store in their shop and I have been decorating all day! It's beginning to look alot like Christmas at my house!

Went to see Dr. Chasen today and had the drain removed. I really did not enjoy it. It hurt a little more than I was expecting. More of a cramping while it came out than actual sharp pain. The best thing is I got on their scales and I've lost 8 lbs so far!! woo hoo!! I didn't expect to be down that much already so that was very exciting.
After seeing the doctor I went to my favorite bookstore(Goodwill) and did a little shopping then went to the sports store to buy a new pedometer then to GNC to get protein mix and finally home. I was a little worn out by the time I got home so I rested for awhile before exercising.
I must say, I think I had a little more pep in my step this afternoon after hearing I had lost 8 lbs.

I'm home again! I didn't feel like messing with the computer last night when my son finally brought it to me so I'm just now posting. I am staying at my parents house for a few days just to be on the safe side and because they have high toilet seats and with two artificial hips and a sore tummy that is a plus right now!

The surgery was less painful than I expected and I feel like I am doing great on the recovery front! I've been walking approximately a mile and a half a day and drinking all the liquids they want me too!

I go back to the Dr. tomorrow to have the drain removed and hopefully he'll let me stop using the aspirometer.

Well tomorrow's the big day! I am so ready!!!! I've started the liquid diet that I'm supposed to do today and my sister is coming to do the 2 mile walk with me. I'm finishing up cleaning the house so that it won't drive me crazy when I come home from the hospital. I've got most everything packed. I'd say I'm pretty ready to go! Now, if I could just go to sleep now and sleep till time to get up to go to the hospital to make the time go faster that would be great. I guess I'll just go decorate the Christmas tree instead!
I plan to take my netbook to the hospital so my mom's have something to do so maybe I will update tomorrow afternoon on how I'm feeling. Don't know yet if I'll be up to it or not.
