I have been stuck at the same weight for a week already. The scale dont move, and i feel so out of it...i have counted calories, im under 700...i have log my food intake, and nothin. I know ppl say dont weigh your self, but what if i go to my 6 week follow up appointment and I'm at the same weight? That would really be the cherry on top! That is why i do...but i dont know, am i doing something wrong? Could it be bc i am constipated? I know TMI...but whatever...and yes i did reachout to my dr today about that situation. 

Someone please help. 

I cant believe i did this! I had surgery yesterday morning and i am fine! Pain lis like a 4, no nausea, keeping fluids down, been walking, the only thing is that i have not been drinking enough. So, they will keep me one more night.

The only discomfort i have is the gasy feeling..that is horrible....i have never wanted to break wind sooooo bad like yesterday and today...it felt stuck...lol sorry i know TMI...but its the raw truth!! My chest hurt bc of the gas...i felt a lot of pressure i askes the RN to please monitor my heart bc i thought i was having a heart attack bc of the pressure i felt...but is was just GAS!!! 

I WALKED IT OFF AND ALL IS GOOD NOW..THANK GOODNESS!! LOL 

I CAN BELIEVE I DID THIS! YOU GUYS...I HAVE NO REGRETS! SOOO READY FOR THIS NEW PHASE OF MY LIFE!

Well, i was initialy scheduled for surgery for February 27,2018....but i got a call today before almost cheating on my liquid diet....(mentally) ....and they moved the date to February 26, 2018!! Im sooo ready!!! + anyone who says or thinks this is the easy way out....HAS NEVER BEEN ON A LIQUID DIET!!!

I will continue with my journey and DRINK ON!!

well here we are! I finally had my consultation appointment today!!! And all is well! As always there are a few set backs...my insurance company requested that I follow up with my doctor once a month for 90 days. Which is ok, I knew that I would not get a surgery date right off the bat...so that is due able... I also got my labs out the way today, and also scheduled my EGD for October 27th! Now that I am nervous about but it all comes with the process! My doctor also agreed with with BYPASS option. So today was a good day, I have knocked out several things off the list for the insurance approval and I shall follow up with my doctor after the EGD on November 15!!! 

I will let you all know how EGD testing goes!

I know have a consultation appointment scheduled for October 11, 2017! I am super excited and scared! I am now deciding to quit smoking as well so this will not prolong the wait for my surgery! 

So what happens at the first consultation? I have no idea what to expect, but I am ready! I have done so much research over the process and I am mentally prepared... most of the people I have told about my decision to have the surgery done have nothing but negative comments. So I decided to keep quiet now, and logged on here so that you all can be my shoulder to cry on and lend an ear. 

I know this is for the best and I will succeed!
