I am 37 this year and have once again gained a lot of weight. As do most of us I lose and then gain back. It is a very exhausting yo yo game, or what I refer to as a ride that I want off of. I have tried all diets known to man, and maybe a few I made up along the way. My health has gotten worse over the years and I am faced with a lot of long term health problems in the future. My hope is to lose the extra weight that I have picked up in hopes to improve my over all health. I am not going to lie and say that is my only motivation, I would like to look good in jeans again and not starve for it. But I would love to live a full life with less problems with my health too. I am a mother of three boys of my own and one soon to be step son. I would love to be more active with them, but at this time I am limited in what I can do. I am at the lower end of minimum weight for the surgery and my BMI is just at the tip of 40. Because my body doesn't do well with extra weight and I have so many other heath problems, this surgery will be just what I need to reach a healthier me.
