*deep breath*

I've had quite the bumpy road since having surgery almost 2 months ago. I developed a stricture at about 3 weeks. What a nightmare! I honestly thought I was going to die. Not eating for 3 weeks (well the first week everything i ate i threw up) really does a number on one's thought processes. I was convinced that my days were numbered. I was scared s**tless.
Thankfully the repair was done last Wednesday and almost immediately I felt better.

Until I got home. I knew there was something not right. I was having crazy hard heart beating moments where I thought I was just going to drop. Turns out my levels of potassium, hemogolbin, iron, vitamin D, and protein were low low.
I found myself at the emerg again and they gave me potassium and a bag of IV. I've been dealing with heavy menstrual bleeding for the last 14 days and it's been kicking my butt. The gyno wanted to admit me but I begged her to let me go home and just take the meds there. No more hospitals after lying in Humber for 11 days. So now I'm trying to get all these meds in so I can stop bleeding and replenish. Second day of the meds and it's not easy. My tummy is so small. I have to really be viligent here. I'm trying to do everything right. I'm working so hard to be well.
