Feeling Some Kind of Way

Today was a very challenging day at work but I made it thru the day in one piece.    Sitting in my recliner, trying to get my thoughts together.  

Let' me share with you my latest episode of discrimination on big people.  My family and I went to the Halloween store to get costumes for an upcoming Party. I don't usually celebrate Halloween, this year I decided to do more fun and exciting things so this one of many.  I asked the sales girl whom by the way age was close too if not exactly 19, to get me a costume in my size I asked her to bring me 3 different costumes so I could try them on and pick one.  When she returned she handed one of the 3 and of course it was the one I liked least of the three lol. Then she begins to loudly say they do have the other two "WE JUST DON'T HAVE YOUR SIZE.'  When she emphasized my "YOUR SIZE," she pointed at me and said it with disgust.  I said excuse and she with an attitude said again, and a third time this time with a giggle.  My husband responded to her with some not so nice words and I told her that I felt insulted. She so Oh IM sorry and walked away.  Yes this girl insulted me in front of my family and a store full of spectators.  Well of course you know I spoke to the manager and he allowed me to pick any costume I wanted for FREE!  However I wanted an apology from Lil Miss thang and I personally wanted to educate her. 

I'm over it but I just wanted to share it with you all!
