Well, since my last post I had to have my gall bladder removed and fix a internal hernia that started. What fun! I am now recovering and doing better.

Hello everyone! I haven't posted in a long time, been real crazy. Since I last posted I made it to my 1 year surgeriversary!  I am down to 155 lbs, a total loss of 150 lbs since my surgery on April 17,2007.  Health wise it's been a roller coster with my lupus. Lots of ups and downs. 'But other wise doing good.

Well, since I last posted I lost a few more pounds! I am now down to 162. A total loss of 143 pounds since my surgery in April. I have also have been having menstrual problems, have had my period for like 4 weeks now, most likely due to my Lupus. Can't wait til the doctor's find out what to do about it.  This is not the first time this has happened. I started with an on going period back in the summer, lasted for several months. Had me on pills, didn't work, then in sept. had a dnc and ablation. That seemed to help a little. In november had my tubes tied, got a normal period in dec., lasted my usual 5 days then a week later got it again and have it still. Been on anothe pill and helped for 3 days and then started bleeding again. This is an ongoing problem. I have been checked for fibroids, tumors, cysts, and everything's good. So, it's due to my Lupus!.Yet another problem added to my belt. I see my lupus doctor on monday and we'll see what she says to help. All I know is she better come up with something soon because I can't keep bleeding like this. I am getting so tired and weak. I am tired enough from lupus, like I need to be extra tired from that too! Anyway, so much fun! Hopefully, I'll have an answer soon.

It has been a long time since I lost posted. A lot has happpened since then. In sept. 07 I had surgery , a dnc and ablation for female issues. In oct 07 had surgery to remove a kidney stone in rt kidney and stent put in place. In nov07 had another female related surgery and then in dec14 07 I had another stone in left kidney but passed it in er thank goodness. But in the mean time my weight loss has been going well. I am down a total of 136 pounds in 9 months and down to a size 14 jeans. I am so excited. I am looking forward to get back onto this site and keeping up with everyone. Keep you all posted.

It has been a while since I last posted. Been very busy, I have made it to my 100 lb loss mark and feel great. I weighed my self on Sunday, Sept.16th and  I cried! As of today the 17th, it's been 5 months since my surgery. I am coming a long way and still have more to go. My journey has just begun.

I have only been out little over 3 months and eating is somewhat difficult. Somedays are bad and some days are good. It's hard to find what things are going to work. But I've been trying. At least to make sure I get protein in.
