Bronson Methodist Hospital

"My surgery is May 26, 2009. I have never had to stay in the hospital before, but I am confident that I will be very well taken care of. On 5/20/09 I had to go to Bronson for my EGD, i was right I was very well taken care of. All of the staff made sure I had everything that I needed. If I had questions they were more than happy to answer them. I am very happy that I made the decision to go to Bronson for my care. "

Alan A. Saber, MD, FACS

"I have to say that Dr. Saber is a great doctor. My first impression of him was that he was a man that knew what he was doing, and wanted to do what was best for his patients. The staff in his office always went above and beyond the call of duty for me. I am such a worry wart, and I was always calling them for one thing or another. Not one time were they rude to me. I will say that Dr.Saber is a very busy man, so he comes in says what he has to say.....answers your questions and then he has to leave. Although I was unsure if I wanted the Sleeve or the RNY. Dr. Saber called me and stayed on the phone with me for liek 30 mins answering any questions that I had. That made me feel very good about the man I was trusting with my life. After care and following his instructions is #1. He is very honest about the risks involved with this type of surgery, and lets you know that this is just a tool.....the hard work must still be done. Over all I think I would rate him as a 9 on a scale of 1-10...10 being the best. I think surgical competence and bedside manner both count, and Dr. Saber has both. "
