Ramon, Have the Greatest PS Ever on Wednesday!! It’s good to see more guys out here on Obesity Help. We make up a small minority of the people having Weight Loss Surgery, but tend to lose down quicker and with fewer hassles than the women due to Male Physiology. I just had my Plastic Surgery this summer. Drop by the "Men's Message Board" at- http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/men/ -to see how other Guys are doing with their surgeries. You’ve been an inspiration to the Texas Board for years. Drop by and see how some of the guys around the country are doing. A lot of info and advice specifically tailored to Men and quite a few just having had PS. I’m just dropping by to let you know that there’s a huge crowd of strangers out here pulling for you and holding you in our prayers. May you have a famously successful surgery and a record-breaking recovery! Hurry home to start enjoying the New Bod!! Best Wishes-

Butterflys are a great symbol of WLS patients. Like the caterpillar, we move slowly. We are not particularly attractive - and most of us are a bit round. Soon, we enter the cocoon stage, where we hide from everyone and everything, and EAT and SLEEP. Then, when the time is right, we emerge from the cocoon, spread our wings, and when they are dry, we fly off, seeking summer flowers. I love the analogy, and can't think of a thing that is better. So, first the butterflies in your stomach, and in your thoughts - pretty soon, you will have them in your heart, and you will be so proud of yourself, and feeling darn good, too!" Best of luck. Don't forget to wiggle your new wings. :) May God Bless You and Yours.
