Moving Kinda Slow

Oct 15, 2009

So, the RNY is not moving along as I expected.  I was reading everyone's posts prior to surgery and fully expecting to have dropped close to 30 pounds or more by now.  I know that everyone loses weight differently and I have to get used to the fact that it's going to take everything in the world for me to lose weight.  I have not lost any weight this week at all.  I'm thinking that it may be PMS which usually happens to me when I'm on any type of weight loss program.

But, I really expected to see most the weight leave when I was doing the clear liquids prior to surgery and the week following surgery.  Not to mention, the whole two days I went without consuming anything while in the hospital.  I realize that I'm only 4 weeks out and that I should be patient but I just had to get it off my chest.

I've been in this body my whole life and I'm so ready for a change.  I'm almost afraid to start working out because for me, my body will completely stop dropping any weight at all and I'm just not ready for that to happen yet.  Hopefully, it will get better....it just has to.
