David, I want you to know how very proud I have been to have you by my side, even before the possibility of weight loss surgery. You have added so much to my life! I am so very fortunate and blessed to have you as my life partner and I am looking forward to us making this weight loss journey together. The future is so full of limitless possibilities for us and I can't wait to share each and every one of them with you. I am praying that your surgery goes without event and that your recovery is a speedy one. (not because of your "to-do" list either...lol!) Dave, I wish you only the best of everything tomorrow. It will be your new birthday. I am sending you prayers and good thoughts, so you can get through this and recover quickly. You and Robin have been just great to get to know here on OH.com. I'm one of your biggest (poor choice for words) fans. I bet if we lived in the same part of the country that we would be great friends. Take care and have Robin update us when she can.

Friday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!
