Spring time..

Apr 28, 2010

Well I am sitting between 157&160lbs.I have joined they gym and work on my arms at home with this shaker weight  thing. It seems kind of silly when you first do it but It really works to tone my arms.I never knew I had muscles under all my fat ! LOL..
Slowly but surely my head is catching up with my body .I can see the size I really am for the most part. I love being active and not tired all of the time. It really is a whole new life.
I do everyhting I can to educate people about this surgery and it's benefits. There is rarely a day that goes by that someone doesn't ask me about my surgery or tell me that I'm still getting smaller.Over 3 years later! My surgeon is very pleased with my result. I'm not a health food nut but I do try to eat somewhat healthy..mostly because greasy or fatty foods just don't taste good to me anymore. I crave salads and yogurt and protien shakes ! I would have never thought it could happen.
I am grateful to GOD everyday for this new lease on life. A friend /co-worker of mine recently died. She was 36yrs old and almost 500lbs.She got a bloodclot in her leg and it traveled to her lungs and killed her.She wanted this surgery for so long and was always denied by insurance and now its too late for her.Her life may have been saved had she been able to have this lfe saving surgery. The obesity discrimination is so very wrong. We all have to work to make a difference and a change. I will never stop trying to help anyone I can .My gratitude will keep me paying it forward.
I hope GOD continues to bless me and my family as well as you and yours.
