Tired of sweating all the time!

I am so tired of overheating at the least amount of excercise, and sweating like a pig.  I teach a class at the local college one morning a week before I go to my full-time job, and by the time I walk across campus to class at a regular pace, I am sweating and it takes a long time to stop.  When I say sweating, I mean dripping down my face and my bangs and the hair around the back of my neck is all wet.  I actually have to carry paper towel in my briefcase to wipe my face and neck.  How unprofessional looking is that????

Another sweaty time is when I get on the bus after standing at the bus stop for a while.  I get used to this nice fall air in the morning, then I get on the bus and strip down ... well at least my jacket has to come off, but I am still really hot.  I like to sit at the back in the off chance someone has opened a window.  I don't want to open one myself or everyone else would freeze.

Finally, sweating excessively after sex is not enjoyable either.  It really doesn't make me feel like cuddling.  Ok, we are done, now I need my space on the bed, covers off, fan on, and the window open.  My poor husband, he is Jamaican and he hates the cold, but he is so understanding and just pulls extra blankets on himself.  lol

Referal Made

Jun 23, 2011

I met with Dr. E today and she is totally supportive with my decision to have laproscopic roux en y surgery.  As I had seen Dr. Dent a few years ago, when he was not willing to do a lap band on me because of the low chance of sucess with them, she sent my referral directly to the surgeon, Dr. Mamazza.  I asked her if there were any tests I could do ahead of time to cut down on the tremendously long wait for surgery.  She is sending me for the EKG and a lot of the preliminary blood work that needs to be done, and she will send it over to the surgeon when she receives the results.

I have tried for so many years to lose weight on my own, and have made no significant progress.  I even paid an arm and a leg for a personal trainer for almost a year, and I lost 30 pounds, just to turn around and gain it all back in the following year.  FRUSTRATING!!!

I am so tired of feeling this way.  I am so lathargic, and feel bloated most of the time.  My back hurst a lot and my knees suffer under all this weight.  I sleep with the darn CPAP machine all the time because of my sleep apnea.  I can't stand to look in the mirror and feel like a complete FAILURE as a person.

I am sooooo looking forward to this surgical tool to assist me in my journey.  I actually feel that there is hope that I will feel normal again.  Of course, it has been so long since I have been a normal weight, that I don't know how that actually feels, I just have to imagine.
