Debbie, I had lap band surgery and experienced the same thing. I was told by many people, nurses, and two doctors that this was just scar tissue and it would go away. After about 6-8 weeks it was gone. I never had any pain but like you I was just worried. Good Luck!

Hi Debbie, I saw your post about a "lump" under your incision(s) and I have a similar thing. My doctor said (in my case) it's from the sutures they close your inner tissues with as they come back out of your abdomen at the end of surgery. They close several layers of tissues as they come out, and so I was feeling the lump that those layers of stitches makes. The stitches are absorbable so eventually the lump(s) will go away. I don't know if that is the same cause for your lumps so be sure to give your doctor's office a call just to make sure things are okay with you (always a good idea to do that with any concerns you have anyway). HUGS

~*~I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.
