6 weeks - down 50 pounds...........bad news though, I have a stricture - have had a lot of excessive vomiting - have not held down a meal in over 2 weeks - but tomorrow they are taking care of it!!! Yeah!  Hope I can finally eat since I am starving.........everything including liquids is coming back up.........Pray for me!!!!

Had dr appt on Tues and down 27 pounds !  Yeah!  Having trouble with vomiting though.  Seems like nothing wants to stay put right now....hpefully will go away pretty soon - I am going back to chicken soup - I was already to stage 4 but apparently cannot handle it yet....oh well....,

Can't believe I did not post after appt.  Lost the tubes but still have to wear the ab. binder. As of today down 24 lbs!  Yeah!  I have to learn to slow down when eating though.  I get too hungry sometimes then try to rush it through which does no good for me or anyone!  LOL  I had to find some sugar free choc./candy to have 1 on occassion but nothing with texture, etc.  Just smooth meltable taste quenching!  Feeling Great!

 1 week today!  Have Dr. appt. this pm and hope to lose the tubes!!!

 I guess I am one of the fortunate ones.  My surg. told me if not throwing up probably will not:,  Still a little sore but down to 1 dose of pain meds daily and starting on full liquids today.  I ate way too fast though.  I was actually hungry and the old piggy reared its head,  My tummy hurt! oh well I will learn by trial and error - have had no probs with anything as yet just hope it stays that way - Cheers!

Surgery has come and gone - feel like I got hit by a truck! LOL - Pain is not my friend but it's trying to be...Actually I feel great except for the pain but it is only Thursday and surgery was Monday - I will check back in next week!

I am waiting to go to the hospital - scared is not the word for it - not scared of the surgery, just scared of the adjustment.  I am so hopeful for this.  It is definitely like a new birth.  I think we as overweight people have made adjustments all of our lives to "fit in", and it is not always a good thing.  I just can not imagine not having to be the one that is always "happy", etc.  You all know what I mean!  Thanks for all your prayers and blessings, I am definitely looking forward to the "NEW" me!

Well I cut right to the chase!  Tomorrow is it and I am petrified!!!! No lying here!  But I spoke with a friend who had wls and she said so was she and everybody else so not to worry!  Feasting on my breakfast of watery grits and hot tea!  Yum!  Hee Hee!!!  Oh well, gonna go see my grandbabies today since I won't be able to hold them in my lap for a while - I have one that is 11 months and adores his grandma - he comes as quickly as he can when he sees me and throws himself at my legs and wants me to pick him up of course!  The other one is a beautiful 5 year old little girl going on 15 who thinks mom mom must come play with her immediately and then in the next breath wants nothing to do with you!   Sounds just like her mommy at that age!  Well I wil be glad to have this over with and I appreciate all the prayers and good wishes I have been receiving from everyone.  Will be back sometime next week.  God Bless!

Well, today was interesting - had my preop appt. for blood work, chest xray, ekg, etc.  It is making it seem more real........Tomorrow appt. with surgeon!

Well, today was interesting - my dh and I went to the nutrition class that is required.  He got a chuckle out of the thought of me eating only 2 ounce portions........ I told him after he went through me barfing a few times he will quit laughing.............LOL
