Hi Denise~~thanks so much for your kind words regarding my "dewinging"!! That is the only thing that really bothered me after WLS. I am really happy with this surgery--so far! I can feel the difference already. Wishing you all the very best.

Denise no need in letting their comments and opinions effect you. It is most unfortunate the amazing things people will say when they just don't know what they are talking about. Of course your mom and sister don't know what a battle this was for you as they are not in your shoes, they can only see from the outside. All they saw was the weight coming off, they didn't see the sacrifices you made. They didn't see the way that you had to retrain yourself to eat. They don't see you struggling to get in your protein, water and vitamins. They only see the end result. This is sad but sometimes, it takes that person walking in your shows to get them to change their minds. Because all the talking and explaining you are doing is going over their heads. So don't waste your energy on things you can't change instead invest that energy into yourself. You are the one that deserves it for all of your hard work. You know what you had to go through, this they can't take away from you. May God continue to bless you.

Denise, glad that your son made it back safely, sorry that he was hurt on base. Take it one day at a time with your husband returning. If you look at the whole picture it will stress you out. Instead look at the things that is going on in your life in segments. Also, glad that you gave everything over to God, just don't take it back. God can work things out much better than we can. Dear Denise, I have 2 sons in the service. One is in Kawait and the other leaves for Iraq in 1 1/2 weeks. My husband was a specialist in the air force and we wait daily to hear whether he will be called back or not. My heart goes out to you and I pray to God for the safty of your husband and son as I do all of our troups.~God Bless you and yours~

HI DENICE I WANT YOU TO KNOW YOUR HUSBAND AND SON WILL BE IN MY PRAYERS TILL THEY COME BACK HOME. THIS MUST BE A REALLY HARD THING TO GO THROUGH. I PRAY THAT THE LORD WILL PUT A HEDGE OF PROTECION AROUND YOUR GUYS AND ALL ARE PEOPLE LEAVING TO PROTECT US FROM THE EVIL THIS MAN IS DOING.I HEAR FROM OTHER TOO THAT HAVE LOVE ONES IN THE SERVICE I WISH WE COULD HAVE A SUPPORT GROUP FOR THEM. MY SISTERS BOY IS ON HIGH ELERT TO BE SENT TOO. HE WAS IN DESSERT STORM. I KEPT HIM IN CHOCLATE CHIP COOKIES AND DORITOES.I WILL PRAY FOR YOU TOO THAT THE LORD WILL COMFORT YOU AND GIVE YOU PEACE. Hi Denise! You posted right after I did on the message board. Our posts were so similar, it was amazing! Then, I read your profile and saw you had on there" Nothing tastes as good as thin feels"....I had that in my post too So weird!! Thanks for your honesty in the grazing and weight gain.
