I wanted to thank all of you who left me such lovely wishes. The surgery went well, but my bravado caused me to break one of my stiches (yes, I know I shoud wait for the nurses... but I think my pain treashold is way too high). Anyhow, this resulted into a hernia of my bowels, which took 3 days of NPO and test to figure out. Had the hernia repair on Friday evening and got to go home on Sunday. So far all is well, and I am eating well! I really forward to the benefits of this surgery. Genevieve
