Well, my story sounds like many others here. I have had a weight problem since age 11 when I hit puberty. I have PCOS (Polycyctic Ovarian Syndrome). My mother put me on many diet programs from the age of 13 until I left home. The only time I actually lost more than a few pounds was when I took Phentermine from a Dr that had a weightloss clinic. I achieved that inbetween my many years and attempt to get pregnant through infertility treatments. When I stopped the diet pills and started up with the infertility treatments again, I gained back all of the weight I lost and more. There are many things that I would like to do and experience, however with over 100 extra pounds on, I either don't feel that I can try them or am not comfortable or am embarassed to try them. always self concious about my appearance and lack self confidence. I was fortunate to marry a wonderful man over 21 years ago who has accepted and loved my at whatever weight I have been at. He has been very supportive in this process which is wonderful. He is my cheerleader.
