3 weeks post op

Wow I can't believe it has been 3 weeks.  I am not going to say that it has been easy but each day gets better.  I went for a walk on Saturday with my friends Deb and Cindy.  I am so glad they told me about the walk.  I managed to walk 3 miles.  It felt good to get out and start living again.  On Mother's day yesterday I was trying to find some jeans that wouldn't fall down after taking 2 steps.  And I had a pair of size 24 jeans but didn't think there was any way I was going to get into them.  But to my surprise they fit.  I was speechless.  I went outside to find my husband who was working on the trailer in the backyard.  He thought something was wrong but I just said "remember those jeans I said would take a few months to get into?" and he nodded.  I then said "well I guess it won't really be a few months because I am wearing them."  When I started my journey back in Dec until now I have lost 68 pounds and 25 of those just since surgery.  This has got to be the best thing I have ever done for myself and my family.
