Being overweight has been an issue with me all of my life. I went to Weight Watchers the first time when I was 17 years old. I was on this diet for over a year, and was very successful. I lost 100 lbs. I remember back then, you had to eat 5 fish meals a week. To this day I have a hard time eating fish. Of course, it all came back and more. Over the next 20 years, I've tried every diet on the market. Atkins was always one of my favourites (Meat & Cheese). But again the story is the same, off again and on again. Normal sized people have no idea what it's like for us obese. If they could only walk a day in our shoes, they would have a different perception of what overweight is all about. Maybe they would not be so quick to say, "Well, just don't eat as much." Well I could go on and on, but I want to put all of that behind me and start looking toward a brighter future.
