So much has changed in the last 11 months. I am so glad I did this. I'm coming up on my first year. I have about 9 lbs to reach my goal and I'm about 3 lbs short of losing 100lbs. I can't believe it. I never thought I'd get this far. Now I see new goals. I can see myself going past my 150lb goal into the 140's.Yesterday I put on one of my husbands flannel shirt. A year a go I couldn't even close it over my boobs. Last night I was swimming in his shirt.
The lap band was the perfect tool choice for me. I still have my food demons but this keeps me in check.
I think I'll always be the fat girl inside but I'm starting to accept my new appearance.
