My name is Dina and I live in the Niagara Region. I'm 30 years old. I applied for gastric bypass through the MIS group in April 2008 with my family doctor. I got a call for an appointment to visit with a surgeon (Dr. Starr) in June 2009! from there I had many appointments with the Dietician, social worker and of course an orientation for bariatric surgery. I had my surgery on September 2, 2010 and I'm loving every minute of my new journey to a happier, healthier me!
