Sorry guys for not posting about what happened on my journey. Had mri last october 2011....................my back is broken in 2 places, 6 disks crushed and missing from spinal cord. Dr said what happened was since I had been obese since age 8, and with me weighing over 400 pounds for so long, my weight literally crushed my spine. In Dec my mom died from lung cancer, had my first back surgery in Baton Rouge  on jan 12th, by Dr. Overlander, he put in a rod, 3 plastic discs, and a titanium plate........................have to wear a bone stimulator everyday. Still don't have a lot of feelings in my hands and from knees to hips...................the fagments of bone from my spine are embedded in my nerves in my spine!!!! What happened he said my fat was holding my spine together, as I started loosing weight and the fatty tissue in my back, my spine just fell apart, that is why I could not walk and took me 8 months to learn to walk again. I am walking now, can go in store and push a buggy, still can't walk long distances. I am hoping and praying to god I can start exercising after my next back surgery. Still please keep me in your prayers. I am at a stand still with my weight, haven't gain any weight just stay within 5 pounds all the time. I have been buying clothes like crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never in my life have I ever been able to find really nice clothing in a store that fit!!!!!!!!!!!!! The goodwill in Hammond loves me!!!!! I am in a size 18 to 20 pants, and a 1 x shirt......................... just think I could barely fit in a 5X 2 years ago. Will try to post pics when I can!
