I am down to 172 and I am not obese anymore. I can't believe it. I had my 9 month appointment with Dr. Feng on Wednesday and I weighed in at 175, still obese. He was happy with my weight loss progress. He thinks I can make it to goal in 3 more months. I wish I had such confidence in myself. If I don't make it. I know I will be close. I think getting the VSG was one of the best decisions I have made in my life.

I can't believe I am in the 180's. I just bought new clothes and they are already loose on me. I haven't been able to exercise this week because I am sick, but I lost more this week than I have so far. I haven't been able to eat as much either. I have lost around 63% of what I need to loose to be at a goal weight of 135. I really feel like I might make it.

I got Strep throat and it is difficult to swallow. I lost 3 more pounds and my BMI is at 33.6. I'm getting closer and closer.

I weighed this morning and the scale said 199.6. I haven't posted anything on the forum because I want to make sure I stay here. I guess I have made it to Onederland. I am 5 months out from my surgery. I was 279 when I went in for my consultation, and I lost about 15 of that before surgery, so I have made it in around 6 month. It still doesn't feel real.

I finally started loosing again. I added the stair master to my swimming and it seems to have jump started my weight loss. I'm down to 203. So close to Onederland. I think I might actually make my goal of being under 200 before I see Dr. Feng again in March. I don't know why, but loosing weight kind of scares me. The last time I was really thin and had a great body I was always getting hit on by old bald married men. When I was heavier, not morbidly obese, better looking guys hit on me. I don't know why I am worried, I'm happily married to a wonderful man. I'm going to start therapy soon, maybe she can solve this weird feeling I have about loosing weight. My skin just keeps hanging more and more too. Oh well, only 4 pounds to Onederland. I'm excited and scared.

I am down to 213 which I am happy about, but there are so many people who are loosing more quickly. I'm trying not to compare. My BMI is 36.6, much better than 47. I have my 4 month check up with Dr. Feng tomorrow. I hope I am loosing on target. I have been so depressed lately. I think my hormones are out of wack. I am not depressed about not being able to turn to food, that actually makes me happy. It is empowering to be able to stop eating after a small about. I am glad I got the surgery.

I got up and took my oldest boy with me to the YMCA to swim some laps. Our family has a progressive dinner tonight, so I thought I would try to work off some calories. I almost didn't weigh because I just weighed a few days ago, but I did it anyway. I am down two more pounds. I weigh 220 with a BMI of 37.8. I had a great swim, even though there were around 8 people to one lane.

I was weighed at the Doctor's office today and the scale read 222. My BMI is 38.1. I weighed again at the boys doctor's office and that scale gave me the same weight. I stayed at 228 for two weeks. I just realized I now weigh 2 pounds less than my DH.

I'm not loosing very fast anymore, but at least I am loosing. I weighed today and I was 226.5. I did have to take my shoes off. BMI is 38.9.

I weighed myself today and the scale said 228. I stayed at 235 for two weeks and was getting worried. I am no longer morbidly obese. I am Severely Obese with a BMI of 39.1. It still doesn't feel possible to make it to under 200 pounds.
