 well its been one year since i had surgery.   i know that i have not been on for a while and am very sorry but life has been very hectic at my house.

i feel wonderful and am off all meds and have lost 135 lbs and down to a size 3/4 or sometimes a 2 depending on the fashion of the outfit.  i am very happy with the results of the surgery and look maybe wonderful except the hair loss but its starting to grow back. hoping that it will be fuller than before.

again i apologize for not being in contact with everyone that i talked to before this one year.  hope to get together with some of you people and actually see them in person.

well its been 3 weeks since i had surgery and i have lost 25 lbs. i kind of am holding at that and have been for at least 5 days. i hope that everything is okay. the only problem that i am having is that breakfast and i do not get along. i try to drink a mighty shake mixed with a little milk so its not too thick and i have to force myself to drink it. that is the only roblem that i am having and i feel great and am fitting into some of the clothes that i have not had on for a bout a year or longer.

well my surgery is done and over with and now i can start on my new journey of a better life and more active life. i had no complication due to the surgery and came home after 2 days. no pain, no hunger. i am doing my sipping and sipping.

i just called the dr office and found out that i have to be at the hospital at 7:30 and the surgery is scheduled for 9:30 July 31, 2008. the end of the month for a new beginning next month. its finally happening for me and its been a long road but i now can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

it is now 2 more days until my surgery day.  tomorrow is my last day to work and on wednesday i must do my liquid (clear) diet  for the day and drink that yucky stuff and pack my suitcase.  today at work i recieved a phone call from the hospital thinking oh no but they wanted to confirm the appt i had on aug. 6th for the upgrade on my diet if i had the surgery on the 8th like i was suppose to but i told her that it is scheduled for thursday and would have to reschedule that appt and she said okay and hung up. i kind of got nervous for a minute. but now that today is over i guess nothing should get in the way for that big day, yahoooooo!

well like i said before lets try this all over again.  it is now 2 weeks away before surgery and i think it is going by tooooo slow but i know that it will be here soon. i can't wait.

if everything is okay with dr roye with july 31 that will be ymu surgery date and hoping nothing gets in the way this time.

well i heard from my insurance company and the approved the whole thing. the hospital stay was the problem. i had it all approved for the surgeon part but not the hospital.  nothing like waiting the last minute. as of this morning they had cancelled my surgery for tomorrow and i heard this afternoon from them. now i have to wait for them to fax papers to dr roye's office and then annette has to ask dr roye to reschedule the surgery. hopefully the wait is not a long one. maybe he can put me into the slot that that person filled mine. all this wait was not necessary but it took longer because of the holiday on friday and noone being in the office. will post when i get my new surgery date.

that phone call that i received from fr roye's office was to tell me that the insurance (us family health from the govt) will not pay for the hospital stay portion of the whole surgery. they claim that just because fo the surgery type that the dr and hosptial is not accredited with the insurance for that stay.  they also told me that the medical director of the insurance with be talking to dr roye on monday to ask a few questions like how long has he been doing this type of surgery and among other questions. this whole thing should have been cleared up a FEW weeks ago by the dr and the hospital and the insurance. NOT just a few days before the surgery. now i have to wait until monday and see what they say.
i came so close but yet so far.

well i could not sleep and now it is the 1st of july and only 7 more days before my surgery date and i guess that i am getting so excited and that's why i could not sleep besides other things going on in my personal and family life. but more about surgery. i just can't wait for the new life to kick in. i have also been practicing my sip, sip ,sip with my crystalite water.
