GOT MY LETTER IN THE MAIL

My husband is a letter carrier and this entire week I've been calling him to check if I received a letter from the insurance company approving me.  I knew it was coming because my mole in the insurance office called me on the 15th and told me I had been approved on the 13th.  So....no letter.  I'd call my husband and he'd say "No letter, sorry."  Finally, or that should be FINALLY, I called him on Friday the 22 and he said "Yeah, it's here." 

Yippee!!  I can't get a surgeon's appointment until I have the approval letter.  So, I quickly called the insurance specialist at OSU and left a message.  For good measure, I also called the surgeon's liason and left a message.  The insurance specialist called me back and said she had not received her copy of the letter and could I fax mine to her?  Yeah, I happen to own a print shop that faxes....so I did.  Now, it's waiting again. 

If this process has taught me nothing else, it has taught me patience. 

I guess now I have to wait for the insurance specialist to send my letter and file to the surgeon's office, who will then call me to make an appointment for the surgeon and then from there.....my date!
