WHAT A DIFFERENCE THREE YEARS CAN MAKE....

Dear Fat Me:

I'm now three years out from the surgery.  I went down to 112 pounds and am now going steadily back up.  I weigh 130 right now.  I have been called "sexy" "beautiful" "hot".  It has been a wonderful wonderful weight loss journey.  People ask me if I regret having it and I always answer that I regret not having it sooner. 

That said, life is.....um.....difficult.  Divorce in progress, had to sell my portion of the business because of conflicting interests with my partner, took a job I really don't want, never have much time to see my triplet grandchildren....and I may lose my house in the divorce.

So, weight loss can be joyful and triumphant - but it doesn't solve any of life's problems.  Except weight.
