" Dec. 06: Future patients beware this doctor and his center Caremax -Peconic Bay Bariatric Center. Dr Rubenstein/Peconic Bay Medical center used my picture in three national magazine to advertise Peconic Bay wls center without my knowledge. Dr. Rubenstein orginally did my wls, but I haven't been treated by him for wl in over three years. In addition to this, I never participated in his program Peconic Bay Bariatric Center. My surgery was in 2003, this center opened in 2005. I had my wls surgery at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. And never participated with the program at Peconic Bay Medical Center. rnrnSo if you are shown any before and after pictures of Peconic Bay bariatric patients be weary.rnrnHe and his staff were aware that I have told only those closest to me that I had wls. Talk about blasting my personal information for everyone to know. I just want to put this out there so future patients are aware of this doctor and his staff unethical behavior. Beware future Caremax - Peconic Bay Bariatric Medical Center patients !!!!!rnrn rnrn "
"i lucked out...hospital was filled to capacity so i ended up in icu for the 3 days i was here. staff was pretty good but didn't go out of their way to help. probably didn't want to help a 280 pound person get up and move around. which considering how i felt after surgery i didn't want to be bothered with anyone, was ok with me. overall, the nurses were very friendly and nice."
