A quick update...over 5 years post op...
Aug 23, 2012
...and I've found my way back to OH. It's been a rough time for me after losing my Husband to cancer on May 23, 2010. I kept my best friend, Arthur Lee Slaton, at home on hospice. I thank God for not letting him suffer long though. I still miss him and have a rough time with April 21 (his birthday), May 23 (the day he died) and June 23 (our anniversary). I just had to pause and give honor to this man who stuck by my side during good times and bad, especially on this weight-loss journey, always encouraging me. I still love you, HunnyBunny. Moving along, my lowest weight was 108lbs, occurring due to a combination of heartache for my Husband and illness due to a small bowel obstruction which occurred in 2009. Of course I was diagnosed with a case of malnutrition and my surgeon insisted that I gain weight. I usually maintain a weight of 163-165, although I'd recently dropped to 150lbs due to an unrelated illness. I think I picked it back up though! LOL Anyway, I want to try to check in from time to time to see what's new with all who took/will take this Journey.
