My name is Amy. I am 32 years old. I'm married with 2 children ages 14 (Whitney) and 12 (Blake). I have been overweight since the birth of my daughter. I never really had a weight problem any time prior to that. I believe the reason being I took growth hormone injections. They tend to keep your weight down. I'm only 4'3" tall. I took growth hormone from the time I was 6 or 7 until I was about 14 years old. I'm really excited about taking the journey to have the lap band surgery. I have though about it for a couple years now but that wasn't the right time for me. My time is now. I am stable in my job, my marriage and I'm just ready now. It's kindo funny becase everyone kids me that if I lose enough weight people will think I'm my husbands daughter (that happens alot now) LOL.. I will keep you guys updated on my journey. Keep your fingers crossed that I get approved and get my surgery. I'm ready to be thin again.
