"Dr Mitchell and his staff are great. He is very courteous and has a great bedside manner. He is very seroius about what he does and expects his patients to take this seriously also. No smoking, follow his program, attend support groups and follow up visits for the rest of your life. He is very straight forward about the risks involved. His surgical competence is excellent. I would not have let anyone else do this surgery on me except Dr Kenneth Mitchell. He requires many pre-op tests to make sure you can handle this surgery medically and psychologically. He requires you have a blake drain(JP)(2 weeks) and a g-tube(4 weeks) in after surgery. Many doctors do not require this but he feels it is for your own safety."
"Nursing was the main problem. Not sure if they were short handed or too much on their plates. I had to continually ask and remind them for something I needed. They would start something them I would have to call them to get them back to finish. They were very friendly though...just a little distracted."
