"Doctor Hoehn is an interesting guy. He is super firm and very intimidating in the seminars but then you get to be one on one with him and he's the biggest sweetie. I told him I was super nervous about the surgery and he just reached out and gave me a big ole hug! (I'm a hugger, so I was fine with that.) The surgery itself was quick and pretty flawless - my site stitches look great and the swelling is less than I expected for sure. I would totally recommend him as a surgeon.
That being said, his support staff are hit and miss. They are very through but don't often give off "I care" vibes. The NUT was very unhelpful in my opinion, the psych doc pissed me off, and the first nurse to get me ready for surgery was a monster at first. But the receptionists are great, the case managers are efficient, and the other nurses were amazing.
The facility itself is gorgeous and the private rooms are awe-inspiring. SOOO nice. The bed was a hospital bed, so nothing to write home about, but I missed it when I got home and realized my bed wouldn't adjust and I wanted to sit up! "
