Yesterday was my first appointment with Dr. Blackstone and I just love her.. She is so nice, and she made all my concerns, fears, worries go away. She said the only thing she is concerned about is my asthma but considering its very mild (non existent until last year) it shouldnt be a problem..
Okay so now to the great news! I am a tiny person underneath.. I am a size 2.. She said I am really tiny and its a tight fit in there.. Wow me tiny? Its sad that that makes me happy... But a size 2? Wowsers!! LOL
Next I go this Saturday to do all the fun labs after that JULY 8th BABY!!! MY NEW BIRTHDAY!!!

I had my PRE-OP class on Wednesday and I really enjoyed it. My mom and I went together and everyone was so extremely nice.

Well a lot of my questions have been answered since I last wrote.. First thing is first I have been approved and my surgery date is JULY 8Th!!! YAY ME!!
It's so funny how this process goes through so many phases.. I passed the "worry about getting approved" phase.. Now I am a reading fool.. Reading 3 books about WLS and websites.. I feel like i cant absorb enough informaiton..LOL
Well I will update soon! My pre-op class is 5-14-08.. I am excited! lol

Hi Everyone,
My First Blog.. Where do I start.. I am 29 years old I have been overweight since I was 8 years old. This is when my first diet was. I yo yo'd my whole life.. I got down pretty small in High School when I was on Phen Phen.. But like everyone else who was on it I gained it all back!
My surgery process.. I have gone to the inital consultation, I have had all the pre-op tests and my phsc visit.. I am waiting on United Behavioral Health to give the okay to United Health Care.. Basically they need to know I am normal.. LOL If they only knew!
Its a waiting game for me right now and I have so many questions.. I wonder how long it will take to get my approval, I am scared of not getting an approval. I wonder how long it will be for my sugery... I have a million questions running through my mind..
