4 hours and counting down!

Silly me...I thought I would sleep like a baby tonight...I tossed and turned...I did everything but sleep. I'm not nervous or worried...I am so anxious to take this big step. I know that I am doing the right thing.
I keep wondering how it will feel to see such a quick and dramatic change. What will my children think? Will I look different to them? I haven't told anyone other than my family...what will everyone else think? I still haven't decided what I am going to say if I am asked.
I'm ready to go...if only time would pass quicker...two hours and I will be on my way.

I know exactly where it went...clearance...clearance and yet more clearance. There was a bump in the road when something showed on my sono...but in the end it turned out to be nothing of concern.
Last Thursday was a BIG DAY...completed all my clearance appointments...saw Dr. Ahmad...got my approval...got my date 4/2!
April is the first month of the rest of my life!

Taking the first steps

After meeting Dr. Ahmad and Seema last week I knew I was in good hands. I immediately began making all the necessary appointments.
This week I met with the nutritionist and the psychologist. Once their reports are received my paperwork will be submitted to my insurance company. I am so anxious; I can't wait to hear that I have been approved.
Next week I see the cardiologist and have my endoscopy. I will be finished with my pre-op on March 22. I'm am hoping to have my surgery the beginning of April.
