Hope all of you are doiong well and winning your daily battles.  I've was always told it's how you walk through the fire that counts !  I hear rumblings about a Season 3 for the TV show Skin Tight, and I am hoping to recruit some of my own candidates for the show !

Its been a long road but we finally moved into our new Clear Lake location! Still have some little details to fix up (like getting our phones hooked up!), but we are good to go.

We're all permitted and construction is underway. For those of you who have visited the historical property at 1009 Missouri, my old building is in safe hands. The new owner loves it as much as I did and has vowed not to tear it down.  Ill be there for the next few months, and may even keep a presence there if I can for those who don't want to drive to Clear Lake. Planning a  nice relaxing spa and massage area for that complimentary lymphatic massage I provide for all my patients  after surgery !

It's been forever since I updated, and it seems like only yesterday that I began my involvement with OH.com but some of posts went back to 2003 !  I am glad to see that my choice to specialize in this area still keeps me going, and I continually learn new things.

2015 will be great..it's time for another book, and I am also moving  to an office in the Clear Lake area, although I will also keep a presence in the Med Center area.  

Those of you who have visited my historic building will be relieved to know that it was saved yet again from demolition by the avaricious ddevelopersdown here, this time by a wonderful man who may turn it into a cafe or something like that. I am happy to entrust it to him !

This is my first entry, hopefully I will be able to keep it up!  The Austin event was great...I just wished we had another day.  The next one will be a 2 day event for sure and I have taken and saved all the suggestions from the attendees.

I continue to see out-of-town patients, and we have a new arrangement at the Hilton Gardens near the Galleria.  This was found by a couple who traveled and stayed here a week...it's an extended stay hotel with all the needed amenities for patients and their family/caregiver.  We cover the first 5 days there for LBL patients and get the parking comped for the whole stay. Right next to the Galleria, pharmacy, shops, casual eateries,  too!

We'll be filming the second season of Big Medicine next week, and I apologize in advance for the mayhem this will cause in my schedule.

I am hoping to find an eligible veteran for Operation IraqStar, a project to provide plastic surgery to our wounded.  No matter what you think of the situation in Iraq and Afghanistan, these scarred or disfigured kids deserve all the help we can give them.   Donate if you can at www.IraqStar.org.  We'll have a big fundraiser once I find the first eligible candidate.
