ONE MONTH POST-OP APPOINTMENT FOR LBL

I saw my surgeon (who did my lower body lift) on Tuesday for a 1-month post-op. As I suspected, I had a seroma on the left side. Dr. Dry put in another drain and within 10 minutes over 800 cc had drained out. I couldn't believe how much better it felt - I hadn't realized how much pressure it had been causing. Both drains should be out within a few weeks - thank goodness! Anyway, everything is healing well - the incisions will hardly be seen! Dr. Dry is the greatest! As are his staff. I only wish he were closer to me.On another note, I now easily fit into size 16 pants - and even a few 14's! 1981 was the last time I wore that size. Once the swelling goes down, I'm sure it will be even smaller.
I started back to work Monday (off Tuesday for the trip to Kirkland), but have only been able to work 2-3 hours a day so far. Get exhausted so easily! Hopefully I'll be full time by next week.
