Lee Trotter

"Dr. Trotter has been wonderful. He is very up front and honest about what is needed to make this journey a success, and listens to and addresses your concerns. He genuinely cares, and wants only the best for you. Others I have talked with that have had surgery performed by him reaffirm my impression. Although a little frustrated at first with the office staff and their procedures and the mixed messages I was getting between the doctor, his office staff, and the bariatric nurse, everything has proceeded very well. Linda Cox, the bariatric nurse, has been an angel for me and even provided me with her home number before the surgery in case I had concerns over the weekend after surgery. rnrnSomething that I do think is important is that Dr. Trotter has an aftercare program in place which includes monthly visits with him and a monthly bariatric support group. I attend this regularly and have found it to be a valuable tool for my success."

Bariatrix Essentials

"10 g protein/scoop - 3 scoops with 12 oz water makes great shake - chocolate and vanilla the best - banana okay - excellent source of nutrients! Can also mix with milk."

Holy Family Hospital

"My only negative comments were that the nursing staff did not seem to be aware of things I was not suppose to drink (offered me some 7-up to drink) and nobody hooked up my CPAP until I asked them to. However, the main bariatric nurse was out of town at the time of my surgery."

Holy Family Hospital

"The nursing staff was very attention and responded very quickly when I pushed the call button. However, my surgery was scheduled for a time that the bariatric RN was out of town (I knew this ahead of time), and I don't feel they were well versed in bariatric patient's needs. They offered me diet pepsi or diet 7-up (we aren't suppose to have carbonation), put straws in my drinks (we aren't suppose to use straws), and one even asked me if I wanted to eat something before I left the hospital! This is a relatively new program here - Dr. Trotter moved to the area about 1 1/2 years ago and has been working hard to get a good program set up. But I was very impressed with the nurses!"
