Two Years Out!!

Apr 17, 2011

Two years out have come and gone. I had a chance to sit and reflect....Reflect on what things would be like NOW had I not had the surgery.  My diabetes A1C was at 11.  My doctors had told me it needed to be below 7.  My blood pressure was out of control.  My triglycerides were unreadable.  My sleep apnea was causing all sorts of problems.  I was JACKED up.

Things are great now.  I average about 5-6 lbs above my goal weight.  My lowest was about 11 lbs below.  I'm not sweating it.  I feel good at my current weight.

Still hit the gym 6 TIMES per week, as oppossed to 6 DAYS per week.  I get in 3 cardio sessions and 3 weight sessions.  My eating plan is mostly a modified Adkins diet.  I try to low carb during the week, especially at work.  When I do, I feel great.  When I indulge in simple carbs, I feel like shit!!  I get bloaty, gassy, uncomfortable, lazy etc.  So, I try to only consume that in moderation.  Key word is TRY!!

Below are a few pics to document the two year mark.  Hopefully they improve within the next two years!!  Stay MOTIVATED!!!!!
