Matthew I. Goldblatt

"I wanted to post this before my surgery. I think I have a GREAT surgeon. He did his own oriention, comes to support meetings and was very detailed about procedures. I don't feel as though he pushed one surgery over the next. He asked what where my thoughts, reviewed risks and benefits of each and finally approved the Lap Band I was hoping to get.rnrnI had to call him a few times before WLS, and each and every time he returned my calls and patiently let me ask a ton of questions. He always returned calls usually within 3hrs. rnrnI did have fears and concerns of not knowing what to expect from a “Military Doctor”, but my apprehensions has been calmed. His team is wonderful. They are functional and straight to the point. They have been proactive with my care. rnrnHospital is not as \"pretty\" as most, and some staff have a military type personality (not real bubbly, I guess), but what counts to me is knowing that my surgery team is qualified, experienced and skilled. rnrn ***POST-OP*****rnrn28 Sept 07, Dr. Goldblatt is AWESOME! His pre -op demeanor was the same before, during and after my surgery. He took time out to come to my room when heard I still had questions, called my family to let them I was ok! There's just too much to list, he is a GREAT surgeon!rnrnMy hospital stay was also top notch, Every team member introduced themselves, explained what they where doing, and etc., I was fourtunate to have the team I had!rnrnrn"
