I can't believe it's been 6 weeks!!!

Hey everyone!!

Well, it's been a while since I posted so I figured I should.  Yesterday, 7/16/09, was exactly 6 weeks since my RNY surgery.  I can't believe it, time really does fly when you're having fun!!  I got on the scale today and it read 192!!!  What a WOW moment for me!  I haven't been this weight since right after I gave birth to my 3 year-old daughter.  It feels so great!!  My total weight loss is 36 lbs., 10 pre-op, 26 since surgery.  I just have to say that having RNY was the best decision I have ever made!!  I have struggled to loss the 90 some odd lbs. for about 5 years now and to finally see a result like this, it just feels so amazing!!!!! 

Even though I am nowhere near my goal weight, I can feel my confidence is building back up and I'm not afraid to go places and see old friends.  I'm not hiding out like a hermit, I'm actually starting to live again.  I can't wait to live my life to the fullest again.  This is the best gift I've gotten in a long time and I feel so grateful that I've been given a second chance at life!!

Well, I just wanted to get that off my chest.....and if it wasn't for this community on OH I know I would have never made it, so thanks to everyone for being so supportive!!!!
