Update
Aug 28, 2009
Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I updated this blog. I'm not sure if anyone can relate to my same things. For some strange reason, I've had many emotional changes. I don't know if it was the change in the food I no longer can eat. I'm so happy with the weight loss. I'm trying so hard to stay away from carbs. Even if I feel hungry I'll occupy my mind with something else. I will be going back to the doctor's office on Sept. 8th. it's possible that they'll do an adjustment to the band, but I guess they'll determine that once they see me.
I've made friends with several other patients, and I must say it has helped. Somehow you can relate to so many things. I would always hear people say, it's a lifetime change, and OMG I just didn't think it was that much until after my surgery. Now I'm more cautious of what I want to eat. My biggest challenge is the rice, the bread and the fried foods. But thankfully, I don't know HOW, but I've been able to survive without it. I'll have 1/2 of a whole wheat toast. I always look back and remember the days of the "liquid diet" so when I eat that 1/2 of toast it feels like heaven!
How's everyone else doing?! Have a great weekend!!!!
