I'm scared, and I'm sad and I'm embarassed. I know I shouldn't feel any of that. But I just feel like it's one more thing to add onto the list of comorbidities that come with being obese.
I feel like I'll never get there, that surgery is this elusive dream that will never come to be.
~sigh~
I'm just feeling sorry for myself I guess. I need to think positive. Easier said than done.....

It feels as if I've been waiting for so long. I have my Sleep Dr appt on Feb 2nd. I'm waiting for the hospital to call me back to schedule my 2nd dietician appt. then I have a pre-op class, then I meet with the surgeon, then I get a surgery date. I feel as if I'm so close, but so far too.
I hate just waiting, waiting waiting..............

Next appt is with the Sleep Study Dr, on 2/2/07. I should have a dietician appt shortly after that (my 2nd and final). Then comes the
pre-op class.
I'll update more when I have anything.

The sleep study wasn't bad at all. I had about 28 wires attached to my body/head LOL good times.
They DID NOT have to wake me up in the middle of the night to put on an Apnea machine - YAY!
He said if I had it then it's so mild it didn't even set their alarms off. So he will send the 900-1000 page
report to have it analyzed, then I have an appt with the Sleep Dr on 2/2/07.
I also met with the Dietician Tuesday and that went well. Looking at beginning of February for next dietician appt. Then pre-op class. sloooowlllly but suuurreeeelyyyyy

Christmas Eve I came down with a cold, it came on quick, and I still have it. I'm soooo tired and achey. I just wanna lie down.
I gained a few pounds last month. I need to shed those PDQ, I have a weigh in on Jan 17th to make sure I'm maintaining the 15lb loss. Grrr
Just feeling blue this week. I know it's the cold.

I heard from the Surgical secretary and there are "several dozen" packets ahead of mine. Oyyyyyyyyy I guess this is what they mean by PATIENCE......They are booking NUT appts into January 07. Could be worse, that's only a month.
Had a PCP appt Wednesday and I gained a pound. NOT what I wanted to hear, but she was fine with it and said that was good with thanksgiving in there. I need to be good during the holidays this month and really think about what I'm eating. Sounds so logical and easy doens't it? If only.
I have a new addiction, my cousin got me into Sudoku. I never got what the hype was all about, but omg we played once this weekend at our holiday party and I had to rush right out and buy a book of it!
I'm pretty good at it, but I've only done the MILD ones so far LOL

I'm having a Tupperware party tonight. Got my house cleaned last night, no thanks to my darling husband. I don't know why he chooses to clean these arbitrary things, like the shower, had some tape residue on it so he was in there with the goo gone taking that off. Well thank goodness he did that because we're all taking showers tonight you know! oh, and the porch...he cleaned some stuff on the porch! good thing! cuz that's where we're having the party on a cold night in November! omfg I just want to strangle him sometimes!!! So I..did the dishes, cleaned the kitchen, put sh*t away, picked up the L/R swept, vacuumed, dusted, arranged, oh and cleaned the parts of the bathroom that people will ACTUALLY SEE if they happen to use it... @*$&(*$%!!!! I was not a happy camper last night. grrrrr. Just thought I'd vent a little this morning. I feel better now.
The scale is trying to get on my good side again, it said 279. I got on it twice, just to make sure it wasn't messin with me. Of course, I have to remember that the Dr scale is 5lbs HEAVIER so I can't get all excited for being in the 70's yet. ~sigh~
