Its so funny...

Mar 27, 2011

to go back and read your blogs from when this journey first started......almost 10 months post op now and almost a full 100 pounds gone and my life is now at my new "normal" as far as food goes.  I am in the gym almost every other day, thin, feeling very healthy and loving life.  It truly has been a journey and a learning process and I'm still learning every day.  I can eat something 10 times and be fine and on the 11th time it won't sit well and I will end up throwing it all up.  I have learned that throwing up is not as bad as some made it out to be...it actually is the best thing sometimes as it can end suffering from swallowing one damn bite wrong.   I have absolutely no regrets and even though I wanted to run out of the hospital the day of my surgery now I know it was meant to be and I love me .....for the first time in a very very long time ...I love me!  :)   Working toward running a 5k this summer....even though I will have some skin flapping in the wind behind me it will all be worth it!!!  :)
