Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did so. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Hi Everyone! My name is Emily. My husband David and I have been married for seventeen years. We have two wonderful children. Our son is twelve, and our daughter is eleven.
I have been overweight for all of my adult life. I started gaining weight right after I got married. I did have success losing with phen-phen, but I gained it all back after I had my children. Then, I gained more after my hysterectomy. Then, I gained even more after I was diagnosed with diabetes.  I finally tipped the scales at 271. I felt terrible all of the time, and the worst part was the way I felt emotionally. I truly wanted to stay in my bedroom, in my bed. I would have if I did not have any responsibilities.  I had the gastric sleeve on September 25, 2009. I was terribly sick in the beginning, but things are starting to look up!! As of December 28, I weigh 198. I feel so much better!!
