I have had 2 lapbands over the past 9 years. I have lost 100 lbs and have struggled to maintain that loss. I had hoped when I had the 2nd band put in this past February that I would get the success that I initially had with the first band but it has not happened and has caused me problems with the esophagus. I am now working with the talented group of surgeons at Cleveland Clinic and have made the decision that I regret that I didn't make back in February but I am going to have another revision to a RNY. Although I have managed to lose the 100 lbs I am determined to reach my ultimate goal and maintain it and a healthy lifestyle. I am anticipating a date for surgery very soon in August and should know the date with in a few days.
